Contribute to NexaYouth Summer Program Agenda
Help create ideas for NexaYouth's next summer program by suggesting workshops, activities, speaker ideas, educational themes, and discussion topics.
Submission Requirements:
1–2 page agenda proposal with at least 5 activity ideas and explanations of community impact.
Write Letters to State Parks
Write thoughtful letters to state parks, park agencies, or conservation organizations about environmental protection, youth involvement, and community education.
Submission Requirements:
3–5 original letters plus a short reflection about what you learned.
Create Environmental Awareness Materials
Create educational materials about environmental issues such as water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, recycling, or sustainable fashion.
Submission Requirements:
Infographic, article, slideshow, social media graphics, or youth-friendly fact sheet.
Research Youth Civic Engagement Resources
Research resources that help young people understand current events, voting, local government, environmental policy, or community service.
Submission Requirements:
List of 10 resources with explanations of each and why they're useful for young people.
Create a Youth Education Article
Write a short educational article for younger students about an important issue like climate change, water sanitation, animal conservation, or public health.
Submission Requirements:
700–1,000 word article with clear title, simple language, and at least 3 credible sources.
Community Issue Research Project
Choose a community issue and research its causes, impacts, and possible solutions with a focus on how young people can help.
Submission Requirements:
3–4 page research report with at least 5 credible sources.
Create Volunteer Training Materials
Help NexaYouth improve future volunteer training by creating guides, slides, checklists, or onboarding materials.
Submission Requirements:
Training guide, checklist, or slideshow that is clear and useful for future volunteers.
Public Service Letter-Writing Campaign
Write a set of letters to elected officials, agencies, schools, or organizations about an issue connected to public service or community improvement.
Submission Requirements:
5–10 letters with a short reflection and list of recipients.
Create a Youth Resource Guide
Create a guide for young people on mental wellness, environmental volunteering, civic engagement, school service opportunities, or public health education.
Submission Requirements:
4–6 page resource guide with at least 10 resources, organized sections, and introduction/conclusion.
NexaYouth Program Improvement Project
Create a larger project that helps NexaYouth improve its programming, outreach, curriculum, or student experience.
Submission Requirements:
Full program proposal, curriculum plan, outreach strategy, or youth leadership project proposal.

NexaYouth Voices is our student publishing platform where you can write articles and create campaigns on topics you care about — from social justice to environmental issues. Approved submissions may earn verified service documentation after staff review.

Create and run an awareness campaign around a cause you're passionate about. Document your campaign goals, actions, and outcomes.
