How It Works
From enrollment to verified documentation — here's exactly what to expect.
Step 1: Select Your Service Plan
Students choose a service plan that fits their goals. Plan fees cover platform access, project management tools, staff review services, and verification documentation — not hours directly. The number of hours a student may earn depends entirely on the work they complete and submit.
Step 2: Access Your Project Portal
After enrolling, students receive access to a list of online service opportunities. Each task includes instructions, estimated hours, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Step 3: Complete Your Service Work
Students complete service projects at their own pace. Projects may include writing letters to support community causes, creating educational materials for younger students, researching public service resources, or contributing to environmental awareness campaigns. All work must be original and completed by the student.
Step 4: Submit for Staff Review
Students upload completed work through the submission portal. All submissions are evaluated individually by NexaYouth staff. Incomplete, low-effort, copied, or AI-generated submissions may be rejected or returned for revision.
Step 5: Receive Verification Documentation
After NexaYouth staff reviews and approves submitted work, students receive official verification documentation confirming the number of service hours earned. Documentation is issued only after approval — not upon enrollment or payment.
How Partner Projects Work
Some NexaYouth Service opportunities are completed directly for outside nonprofit organizations.
1. Choose a Partner Project
Students browse eligible remote projects from participating nonprofit organizations.
2. Complete the Project
Students follow the organization's project requirements and create the specified deliverable.
3. Submit Through NexaYouth Service
The completed project is uploaded through the student's existing NexaYouth Service account.
4. Receive Partner Confirmation
The nonprofit organization receiving the work reviews the submission and confirms successful completion. NexaYouth Service keeps that confirmation as part of the student's service record.
Existing NexaYouth Service projects continue to follow the standard NexaYouth staff-review process.
Important Notice
NexaYouth Service reserves the right to reject incomplete, copied, low-effort, AI-generated, or inappropriate submissions. Service hours are awarded only for work that is reviewed and approved by staff. Purchasing a service plan does not guarantee approval of submitted work or acceptance of documentation by any school, organization, or institution. Students should confirm their school's service hour acceptance policies before enrolling.
